Curly Cuff Mittens 2.0
Curly Cuff Mittens 2.0 are worked top down. You start with the curly cuff in bouclé yarn and change to Finull for the mitten. Stitches for the thumb are placed on hold while working. The mitten’s top is shaped with decreases on both sides and the remaining stitches are pulled together. The curly cuff is folded double for a nice finish.
Yarn: Finull by Rauma together with Pillpi by Rauma, Alpaca Bouclé by Drops, Curly by Järbo Garn or Mohair Bouclé by Mohair by Canard.
Amount of yarn: 2 skeins Finull for all sizes and 1 skein Pillpi/Alpaca Bouclé/Curly/Mohair Bouclé.
Sizes: S (M) L.
Measurements: Length (measured from highest point on the back to thumb’s top): approx. 24 (25) 26 cm. Width: approx. 9,5 cm (10 cm) 10,5 cm.
Gauge: 20 stitches in stockinette stitch = 10 cm with both yarn qualities (1 thread Pillpi/Alpaca Bouclé/Curly/Mohair Bouclé and 2 threads Finull).
Recommended needles: Dpns 3,5 mm. Remember that the needle size is just a recommendation. Knit a gauge swatch first!
