Ten x Twist Two Colour Edition

All 10 headbands are worked in rounds on a circular needle. Alternatively, they can be worked on dpns or a long circular needle with the Magic Loop method. Each design follows its own chart, which vary in number of stitches. This way, each individual pattern can be best adapted. This also means that the width of the headbands may vary slightly. All charts have in common that each row must be worked 2 x (headband’s right and wrong side). The 1st row (starting-row) varies from chart to chart. Only then the start- and end-row are as similar as possible. This creates a clean transition at the front of the knot.
 
Size: One size.
Measurements: Width 9 – 12 cm (depending on pattern).
Recommended needles: Circular needle 3 mm (30 cm), alternatively: Dpns or circular needle 3 mm 80 cm (Magic Loop method). For headbands with a smaller number of stitches on the needle, the first rounds might be difficult to knit. Start with dpns and change to a 30 cm circular needle after a couple of rounds. Alternatively, you can work the headband on a shorter (23 or 25 cm) circular needle. Remember that the needle size is just a recommendation. Please knit a gauge swatch first!
Gauge: 30 stitches x 34 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm.
Yarn alternatives: Wool by Du Store Alpakka, Finull by Rauma, Flora by Drops, Merino by Knitting for Olive, Sunday by Sandnes or any other yarn that will meet the gauge.
Amount of yarn: 1 skein/colour.
